In 1991, I was led to a poster about the More To Life Weekend course following a couple of significant relationship break-ups. I was distraught and unable to trust myself or anyone. My beliefs about myself, others (especially regarding men, women and relationships), and life in general were deeply ingrained, creating so much suffering in all areas of my life. Although I gained valuable understanding from a year-long counselling certification course, I learned very little about my emotions, somatic sensations, and consequent behaviours. This powerful experiential MTL Weekend course resonated and made total sense. Not only did I learn to listen and tell the truth to my mind, I stopped having chronic aches and pains (especially headaches). The MTL Weekend enabled me to open up to a whole new way of being alongside so many wonderful, unexpected new opportunities. That Weekend I woke up and am grateful everyday for the processes, supportive network of people, and the learning received.
