Continuing Professional Development

Modern society continues to develop in a time of rapid technological advancement, fast-changing consumer needs and continuously adapting working environment.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities so both academic and practical qualifications do not become out-dated or obsolete. This allows individuals to continually ‘up skill’ or ‘re-skill’ themselves, regardless of occupation, age or educational level.

Many professions, non-profit associations and some businesses are now requiring their members or staff to show that they are maintaining annual Continuing Personal Development, and to this end, the CPD Standards Office (CPDSO) accredits certain courses and trainings.

More To Life Recognition and Awards

We considered our coursework as eminently suitable for this purpose, and in 2014, The Continuing Professional Development Standards Office agreed and the More to Life Foundation CIC was awarded CPD Provider Status and CPD Accreditation for our three short-form courses:

This means that any More To Life student is now able to log credits for the hours spent on these courses.

Our goal is to secure similar accreditation for our Coaches, additional short-form courses, and the More To Life Weekend course.
